I bought this item to lift our LCD TV in the bedroom up a little higher on the dresser so that we could see the TV better when in bed. Worked perfectly for this purpose. Was easy to put together, took maybe 15 minutes. Very well packed. Heavy and durable, seems very strong and well built. I backed it up against the mirror on the dresser, because I did not want the TV to rotate, and that worked fine. Using a stud finder made it a breeze(home depot $20), Flip the tv over hook 2 pieces on, find studs and at what height you want tv to sit, screw bracket to wall, hook devive cables etc. to tv, tv sets on bracket, tv slides from side to side for better centering adjustment. Tighten up the safety screws and your done! I really liked that the tv sits close to the wall not a huge gap. ...more

The metal is of a heavy gage and the built in level bubblers is great! Also this bracket came with a mini electronic stud finder! Once installed on the wall I was able to do pull ups on the bracket with no sign of movement (and I am no lightweight!) The only gripe I have with this wall mount was the locking cams. My only concern is that there are no M6 washers in the package. When I called tech support I was informed that my tv had caused the washers to not fit the supplied screws (Didn't make any sense to me either). It was an easy fix by going down to the hardware store so I didn't really mind. Just thought the phone support would be slightly more knowledgeable. ...more

I was able to pick this up at Costco at a lower price ($750) than any other 46" 1080p/120hz set I'd shopped for save the Insignia at Best Buy. After several weeks with the set it is a joy to watch and at this price point I am very happy to do without the first generation, ethernet based internet connectivity found on more expensive sets, especially since those same services are available with wifi on mid priced blu ray players.
