I bought this to install in my father-in-law's ancient Gateway box, so that he could drive a modern wide-screen LCD that was beyond the capability of the computer's onboard graphics. The card popped into place in about a second and worked perfectly. Windows XP warns that the drivers have not been certified and may not work, but they work fine for my father-in-law.
