I bought this for use with my Canon Powershot S500. it works well, charges the batteries in a reasonable amount of time and it quite sturdy for travel. Once nice feature is that the prongs that plug into the wall outlet fold into the unit when not in use so that it takes up less space and won't jab into things in your bag. ...more

S200 canon related trivia:

Component Video Signals - Assure more precise colour reproduction than a composite or S-video signal. Component video output terminals allow for the transmission of digital video to compatible video equipment with component video inputs.

Computer VGA Input Jacks - Front and back computer jacks. The front input provides a convenient point of hookup for a laptop computer, while the desktop computer occupies the rear input. Switching from front to rear is easily accomplished through the on-screen menu system.

DTV - "Digital television." This comprises all the components of digital television, including HDTV, SDTV, datacasting, and multicasting, falling under the standards established by the ATSC.

Decibel (db) - A unit of reference for audio volume.

Dot - Dots make up an image in color separations or halftones. Halftone dots will have a fixed density but have variable size (amplitude modulation).

Flying Erase Head - Erases unwanted material an instant before new, wanted video is edited over. Provides clean edits with no noise or rainbows.

Hertz (Hz.) - A scale used for measuring the number of cycles per second.
