I have long sought after a decent calculator for use in computer science and networking and I THINK I found it - the Sharp EL-W535. It has HEX/BIN/OCT keys (they are 2nd functions unlike the HP-16C) but at least they are not buried in a menu somewhere. You can simply put it over into one of those number systems and do all calculations there -or- convert back and forth between systems. Also supports NOT/AND/OR/XOR/XNOR. It works fine, I've never even changed the batteries, but it only has a one line 12 digit display. This calculator has a four line 16 digit (wide) display. It is much easier for me to keep track of where I am during a long calculation, because so much is displayed. Very Nice. And I would say the price ($13.42) was very reasonable.
